It’s been 7 weeks since my transfer to a 2 bedroom was initiated.
I have provided all requested documents.
They submitted the documents to the city 2 weeks ago but continue to come back asking for additional information regarding our income and assets.

My daughter is a full time student and does not have a steady job. We are well below the max income (even if my daughter were to have a small income) and we are well below the asset maximum so I am not sure why they continue to nitpick our documents.

We fall under the 165% AMI. The building reps who are requesting the documents/ info have been on vacation during the 7 weeks so I kind of understand that it may take longer but should a transfer for a 2 bedroom take so long? Does anyone know what the usual time frame is?

Transferring to a 2br isn’t as easy as you think it should be just remember they have applicants in the waiting list for these apartments that should actually come before you.

I think the only party who can answer your questions is the management office of your buiding. (I assume you're transferring within the same building or development.)
