I wonder what is taking them so long. On some of these threads people are saying HPD approval takes only 3-5 business days but it doesn't seem like the case for this spot. What AMI are you in? I know when they reached out to me there were only 80% AMI studios left and 130% Everything was left.
Thank you!! I got 80% ami studio. They preselected me for 1043 but I hope I get a good layout. I'll switch for the atlantic avenue one.
Niceee! Thats what I am aiming for as well! They have a full layouts on youtube that you can check out and possibly see if its what you got selected for.
I'm not taking the studio, I live in a spacious one bedroom now so I dont see a point in downsizing . The apartments are small a.f
Oh wow did they let you look at any other units or could you only look at the one assigned???
I currently live with 4 roommates in a tiny room with no closet paying almost the same as the 80% AMI studios. I would rather have the whole place to myself you know, own bathroom and kitchen and a closet.. But I get it especially coming from a 1 bedroom definitely downsizing! but thats unfortunate I hope you win another one soon!
lol Nahh its an apartment with the normal NY roommate situations, so Im use to small. But I'll gladly take anything to move out of here and not have any roommates.
Lol good luck! I think you'll love the apartment.. its small but nice. The one I saw had a balcony... but the balcony was connected to the common outside area for everyone in the building. I'm rejecting this apartment. I was so happy I was picked but now I have to reject my application after all this nonsense. :'(. Hopefully your application get approve. I saw two apartments.
