Congrats. I also got approved for 1 bedroom but my income slightly increased during COVID as I worked from home, got OT as there was nothing else for me to do last year so for that reason they put me in the 130% AMI so my rent would be $2126. I share with roommates currently it would be too much of a big jump from my current rent so I think I will reject it. I truly wished there was a way for them to give me a 80% unit as I had the correct income in 2019, I also felt like during this process they rushed me to do my 2020 taxes just to put me in this category

Any updates for this development? I know they requested documents around March, but haven’t heard any new news.

My friend has been waiting to hear back. When she submitted her docs, she was told that she would be called when her number 2xxx was reached, but nothing.

The reason was income. My income was about 1k less than the minimum but was going to be over the minimum starting in 2021. I gave in a letter from my employer stating that and it didn't help.

So after I was rejected last year, tonight they sent me an email with the subject "Athena - Notice of Eligibility - LAST ATTEMPT " so I'm back in!! I quickly gathered my recent documents. I will call tomorrow and see if I can submit my documents in person and build a rapport with the coordinator. I hope I actually get an apartment this time. I qualify so I should.

Has anyone been approved in the past few months? They contacted me w/log #36,*** AMI 130% with no CB Preference. I submitted the paperwork about two months ago. No response as of yet.

I got rejected and contacted again, rejected again and contacted a 3rd time. They had 15 studios available and was offering a financial incentive. The last time I heard from them was a few months ago they never got back to me.

They also rejected me last year in August and circled back around. I guess it's safe to say they will probably offer me a studio which is nice, but I honestly want a one-bedroom.
