Sorry for the delayed response. I was very eager to see the apartment, but unfortunately, I was not able to make this one. Due to my household member's changed circumstances.

no need to apologize! Sorry to hear it couldn't happen, would have made for one helluva story to get an ML only a few months after applying. Hope you get something that fits your family next time!

YES IT IS TRUE.

(If you applied online, login to Mitchell-Lama Connect and your log# will be the last column on the right. As I recall. Not sure where you look for your log # if you applied on paper. Unlike most housing connect 2 lotteries not everybody gets a log#. Many Mitchell-Lama lotteries cap the number of log#s they draw. You might have a “Not Selected” status.)

YES your log# does not change even as you advance up the waitlist to the top. Let’s say your log #77. Even when your log#77 is the lowest log# that has not been offered a unit you will still be log# 77. In other words, when get the #1 top spot on the waitlist you will still be log#77.

Hang in there. This is one of the biggest Mitchell-Lama developments, and it’s not Manhattan (only a few stops away) this will tend to produce more openings that a single building with 100 units near Central Park.

I sent an email to them.

Status: They have not received an update from NYC HPD. They will follow up with them once again.

Are you waiting for HPD approval for the apartment? I completed the virtual home visit a week ago and haven't gotten any updates since then.

I requested two bedrooms instead of one bedroom. That's why they sent my application to HPD.

It's too much time-consuming.
