I I’ve been on several ML waitlist for over 15+years and this is the first promising response.
You can email the property manager on that letter and he'll let you know approx how long it'll take before you're called!

Gave them a call this morning. The person wasn’t particularly helpful and seemed unbothered. Couldn’t tell me timing and how many were ahead of me. Will just go back to patiently waiting.

In the meantime I found this memo from May 2023 to be very interesting. https://www.osc.state.ny.us/files/st...023-22f34x.pdf

I emailed the property manager on the letter that says I'm near the top of the list and he was helpful. Provided me with an estimate of a month or two.

Congratulations. Lindsay Park is perhaps the largest Mitchell-Lama in Brooklyn. About seven tall buildings it has about 2700 apartments. Because of the size and not being in Manhattan the waitlist tends to move faster than other ones.
