hopefully they start the new list soon.
Instead of asking how many log#s remain, which could be subject to opinion, ask instead for what was total number drawn in the lottery. Or, in other words, what was the highest log# drawn. The answer to the total number question should be sold, such as 3000, or 3500, or whatever. Likewise, what was highest number.
Also, think about it for a minute, the older and or large a lottery is there will be a tendency for the last part of it to move faster. People on a five year old lottery list have had plenty of time to move away or otherwise drop out for whatever reason. At the beginning of a lottery, people are more likely to have strong interest and quick responses.
I’ll say it again too, having 2700 total units in the development allows potentially for faster moving waitlists.

They are allowed to do it. And, it’s prudent business to do so. Hotels, restaurants, and airline take reservations well in advance. Imagine if the list ran out during peak season then they would have to scramble resources and rush into a lottery to get the next vacancies filled. It’s better time management to build a new list when it’s not needed yet. Fix the roof when the sun is shining.
I found a 2013 article about Lindsay Park development. It’s not a very nice one, but there’s some useful information about the list. It appears that the last lottery was held in 2004 and there are 4,000 names for one bedroom.
As it was held 18 years ago, 2952 ( current log) / 18 = 162 names a year on average that move on the list. But since it’s been such a long time since the lottery, I would presume it’ll jump around 250-300 names/ year. So probably three to four years before they call from the new list ? What do you all think ?
“Lindsay Park’s waiting list filled quickly in a 2004 lottery. Walpert of HPD says there are more than 3,000 names on the list for a studio apartment and 4,000 names for a one-bedroom.“

Actually my assumption is that the old list started moving in 2004, the same year that the lottery was held, but it may be a wrong assumption. If so, the wait for the new list may be even shorter!
I called them but lady did not give any information.
I see. I called them too, just tried to find out if they received my application, but the lady said that i need to wait for their call. I asked when i will receive the call, she said when they reach my number. that will be years

I received a mail from Lindsay Park to submit the documents with the Credit Check fee. There is no option to check rent history instead of a credit check. Do you know if I can see the apartment before submitting the documents and fee?
