Oh wow does it say that anywhere on the housing connect site? How can you tell if its supportive housing? Usually I just look to see if I fall within the income bracket and just apply I don't even pay attention to anything else.

Yes, it usually tells you in the details section, I never paid attention to that section TBH. I just turned down an apartment due to Sagustin1212 experience, and I hope they are doing better now.

Yeah, I really hope Sagustin found some solution. It sounded like she really got screwed and I felt so bad for her.

Can someone please let me know how long after you submit documents that they called you? Also if you don’t mind sharing what range your log number is in for example 200’s; just trying to get an idea of what number they are up to.

Thanks

When applying for lotteries, always read the fine print. In this case, the lottery has an entire webpage so it’s easier to see what you’ll get into. Point in case, the first sentence would be a turn off for me:

“Edwin’s Place provides 126 apartments for homeless and low-income individuals, veterans, and families in Brooklyn's Brownsville neighborhood”

That’s another thing: watch out for community board preference because some communities are distressed. Brownsville is a high crime area, which is probably why the building has strict regulation.

If anyone was hoping to get into the 50% income they are full as of now and very few 60%
My application was waitlisted bc they took so long to approve my appeal and recalculate it. Worse experience ever.
