The rental unit prices caps are determined by the HPD and there seems to be some clause about selling, which nets owners a 2% increase in property value per year up to 20 years. I'm not sure how long the owner must use them as a primary residence before being eligible to rent both units.
this is interesting, I hadn't seen this! I'm actually in the process for the blake-hendrix homes and these look very similar to those. Wishing well for anyone who applies, I think it's a great investment for those who are patient and willing to take the plunge.
