I dont think so. Where does it actually say CB preference on the Log#?
That I'm not sure... I read somewhere that there's a letter after the numbers if you are CB preference but I don't know if that's true. Can someone else confirm?

CB preference is based on your current address. If your address is correct/updated on the HC website, you will be prioritized for projects which offer CB preference in the advertisement.
Your log number does not indicate CB preference. Log numbers are random. The ones that qualify for CB preference are pulled from the list first.

just an update. I was just contacted to confirm my "residency" (my DL has another address in queens) and was asked for my current lease (no longer living in the CB). So I'm pretty sure they're still looking at CB preference. So I'm pretty sure they will be rejecting a lot of people like me. Goodluck! hope you're still living in the CB!

Thanks for the update! I'm unfortunately not CB, so just waiting until they finish that up to then be asked to submit documents when they start at the beginning of the Log # order.

They usually ask for a lease, which is compared to your bank statements to make sure you're making rent payments. This they do when you opt out of the credit check.
But if you are not CB preference, they will just process you with the rest of the applicants by log number order. So all hope is not lost.
