Viewed Unit but been waiting for HDC
This process is long and strenuous like i viewed the unit in early june or late may and submitted paperwork to HDC. 3- 4 weeks later still waiting to hear back but this is stressful, supposedly you have to sign the lease in 5 days once it is approved by them which is annoying bc they make you wait so long but as soon as they say jump you have to say how high? the unit iw as approved for is a studio i wish it was a one-bedroom but oh wells

This is nothing happening for me this new week. The process is totally fxxking bad. This is totally ****. What you can do every week is waiting, and have nothing to do for the process of the affordable house for yourself.

Unfortunately there's no guarantee for this type of housing. I recommend writing the mayor your frustrations on it. It might not have any results or immediate results but at least it'll reach a team that has the ability to do something about it. Good news for everyone, I sign the lease today but I have to wait for about 2 weeks to move in for the reason that the apartment is still not ready. It is not bad. the building is brand new, and with free Wi-Fi and three elevators, and one small fitness room with a beautiful terrace, and there is a beautiful computer room, what is more, it has a big party room in this building. It is not bad.

What I want to say it is not too bad for living in the city. and the rent is good. we should keep in mind that this is a rent-stablized and part of the apartments will go to the formerly chronically homeless tenants. It is not bad according my opinion, Hope other tenants will like it.
