I’m not new to the lottery game, I have been called back for apartments before, but have wound up not being approved in the end or I have just not taken it.

One thing I always tend to have an issue with is the W2s. This year I am saving all my W2s, but I’m 100% sure I don’t have my W2s from last year or the year before that. In those scenarios, what do you do? How do you get your W2s back from a past employee in a timely manner?

Aren’t the tax returns from the years before enough?

I Don’t Know If You Ever Heard Of This App Called “ADP” But It’s a App Where Your Actual Check Can Be Printed Out Or Saved In Your Phone As a PDF. If You Ever Read The Label On Top Of Your Checks It’s Called “ADP”. Hopefully You Can Access All Your Things Once You Log In and Give Your Information. *Fingers Crossed*

I was only asked to submit the W-2s & tax returns for the previous two years: 2019 & 2020. If I were you, I would start to contact and request the W-2s from the HR departments so that you might receive them in time for any requests. Also, I don't know if you work for NY city or state, but you can access your W-2 from the online payroll website.

You need to be saving your W2s for at least three years back, anyway! That's the statute of limitations for most tax violations. I'm amazed there's anyone who doesn't do this.

I’m 26 and I have honestly never knew about this. I’ve never really kept them and have never had a problem. I was able to get them for another lottery back in 2018, but it was a hassle.
