I'm actually in a two bedroom here and I've been more than happy with the location and amenities and how attentive the front desk is.
I'm going to see how this unit they're going to offer looks and if I like it, I'll speak with management and see how to proceed should I accept the offer.
@fynoasmom - Wow, only 3 units and you were called!! You are one of the lucky ones. This gives me so hope, i fall into the 80% Ami for both studio and 1 bedroom. I will take the studio because they have more units available. I've been applying for so long and i just want a break. I know its luck but 9xx is not that far to get it too. Thank You so much and i'm praying for you as well. GOOD LUCK :-)
@Ochochino - Really, that's good to hear. Your log# was 3xx and mines is 9xx i'm praying they get to me. I'm in the 80% Ami for both 1 bed and Stu. Although i would love the 1 bed, the Studios have more units. Good luck during your process. You are def one of the blessed ones :-)
These apartments (One Bell, Two Blue, One Blue Slips) are all gorgeous with impressive amenities!!! I got log #8XX on Two Blue Slip lottery & I was contacted to submit documents but I withdrew. As much as I wanted to get a 1BR unit at Two Blue Slip, I love my alcove studio unit at where I am now due to the location. These Slips apartments are not easy access especially for people who depend on public transportation like me so it's very unfortunate.

My friend actually lives in Two Blue Slip at market rate and he's paying $4,800 for a One Bedroom.
@someoneinqueens They really are. I wondering if some of the studios would be Alcove here. You can do a lot with an alcove studio. I'm glad you love your unit (its the best feeling). If you don't mind me asking, did you have CB? and How may units were available in your Ami? 8xx gives my 9xx some hope!!! It looks like a 12min walk to the nearest train.
I got log #8XX for Two Blue Slip, not this One Bell Slip. I don't live within the CB but Two Blue Slip didn't have any preferences either. I'm at 130% AMI & qualified for both studio & 1BR, by looking at the amount of units offered (35 studios & 65 1BRs) I was confident I could score a 1BR unit at Two Blue Slip if I followed through the process.

I love my alcove studio! My bed is completely separate from livingroom, dining, & kitchen area, it just doesn't have any wall in between, however, if I want to put up a French door or sliding door to make it as a bedroom, it could easily be done. In fact I asked my building management about it & they said some market rate tenants did put some partition. Basically the size of my alcove studio is equal to a 1BR unit
