Hi everyone.

Have any of you been chosen for processing for an apartment, but there was only one available in your AMI?? What happened - did you get the apt, or were you waitlisted?? How low/high was your log number?? Did you have preferences?? Any answers you give will be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!!

Chances would seem to be better the higher the AMI. This is because we assume fewer applicants with higher AMI are attracted to lotteries. Also, the rents at higher AMI tend to not be viewed as such a great deal so the units might get declined more often when they are offered an applicant.

If the particular lottery has many units sizes and many AMI brackets that tends to benefit you because some of these other log#s are not aiming at the same single unit that you are.

Good luck and good patience.

All of this makes so much sense. Thanks for your response.
