Thank you for that post. It's been a tough couple of years for many people and it's easy to lose hope.
Without going into details, I'm having a really hard time. This housing situation is just added stress and sometimes I don't see a way out. So I really appreciate the positivity.

It is a lottery but it's not impossible. There's plenty of hope, maybe not what you want exactly or when you want it exactly but there is hope, lots of it.

Anytime! Just realized that the lottery I applied to with the high log # in my CB was essentially the last lottery in my CB to post with any preference etc. the lotteries this year that are in my CB have mostly posted for 130% AMI which I don’t qualify for and no CB preference .

Yes, I understand. I'm not in that AMI either, most people are not. However the lotteries seem to be more directed towards those at times. It's so sad
my lowest CB are indeed outside of my own CB. its really mind boggling at times.
