Wow really??? I thought I saw on the DOB NOW site that the TCO has been granted for the apartments. It says verified for each floor and CO issued, so I thought that means the apartments should be good to go. But I know the elevators were being worked on so I thought maybe that was the hold up… either way we wait.

Yeah. I saw something similar on the website as well. I'm hoping it will go a lot faster. June seems so far away..

I hope so too! You have been waiting so long. I have only been waiting 2.5 months, so I can’t even imagine your anxiousness! According to the Inspection notes, they are having trouble with certifying who did the gas work. They have yet to upload welders certificates. I don’t know how long that will take but it’s been a while. Not sure what happened with the welder… here’s what it says if your interested:

“Gas finish fail for cooking in in tower A flrs 003-017 as requested. (pipe is welded from after twinset meter at CEL. ATOI: QW 484 Shawndell Sealey 5/6/23 LMP letter of direct employment, GWQ Limited gas Work issued 04/21/2023. QW 484 and Gas work certification is issued after the first gas rough-in 5/24/2021 Comply with 2014 FGC section 406.1.1.1 Welder’s qualifications #5 and Local Law 150 of 2016”

Not sure what it all means but seems like someone dropped the ball.

I haven’t got any requests from management itself, just through housing connect, so I don’t even know if there are units available. I’m a single person and going for a studio or one bedroom. But not sure if they processed all those for CB yet.

Thank you for the information. I also noticed a charter school is being build close by to the development. I'm not sure about the units assignments but I know a lot of people who initially qualified for the development withdrew their application according to the resident selection coordinator. So they are still definitely trying to actively fill the building. Best of luck to you. I will continue to wait.

Hi! I haven’t heard of any updates, have you tried to contact them through email? I would suggest at least sending an email asking for an update. I think you are closer to getting called than me, my first call was in March. But once a month I’ll ask about any updates. And they usually have replied back. Hope they call you soon!
