>> At $69,230 a one person household would qualify for both a studio and a one-bedroom, both at 70% and 80% AMI. There is some overlap in this case. In the case of Income Overlap there is no guarantee that a lower rent unit will be available when your log# is called. <<
$96,652 is minimum shown for a Studio at 130% AMI for this lottery. For one person household.
Hang in there. If you are rejected on Income you can appeal.
Thank you, I'm over with this new income by like 300$ but I have not started working it yet. I'm hoping they have at least a 80% available for me if not. I already reached out to the new job to see if they would fill out an employment verification form and they said the offer letter should suffice. I'm worried that HPD is going to calculate the projecdted income wrong as well. I just need a place to live at this point so I don't care if I get boosted out of 70% lol.
Log #16X non-CB, just got a notification to submit initial documents. I'm eligible for 130% AMI studio or 1BR but I won't move forward, just keep everyone in here updated!
They're moving slow because everyone who had to submit and sign documents has to resubmit. I was told there's 4 people ahead of me. The hold was due to some additional construction on the building (my guess is the pool because it wasn't done when i toured in Feb). I hope that gives some insight. Also was told that it would take about 3 weeks to process everything (2 weeks for going through the documents, 1 week for HPD). Might take a couple of more months to get to the higher logs. The office sounds like they're under a lot of pressure.

Not to mentioned, they also have 601 West 29th St., which has had a longer than normal timeline as well. They’re still moving through CB and started calling people back in Oct 22.
