The higher numbers were either seniors (62+) or had community board preference; those who live in the community get 50% of the units at Gotham. Those units have now been filled and they have moved on to the general population, starting back at #1. My tour went well; I was shown 3 units. I'm quite certain I was shown one of their best 1 bedrooms with views of Manhattan. Three months ago, I would have taken it, but I declined as I recently moved into anther lottery building (Sven) which I prefer over Gotham.
What floors were you shown? And do you know if that manhattan view one was a corner unit ?
BTW, it has been 2 weeks now and no contact whatsoever.
I think that even if they made it to my number, there would be very few units left, if any at all
Surprised I got contacted a few days ago; my log # is 52XX but I do live in the CB. Can anyone tell me what the process is since I opted to provide my documents at the appointment?
Log #63,XXX with CB preference - got a document request today.
Can't believe they got to my number. I was going to withdraw my application a year ago when I saw that log, but then I figured with CB, you never know.
First time back on the forum after having my heart broken over SVEN last year. Still in therapy over that one, but Gotham Point was also high on my list so maybe redemption is nigh.
The marketing agent contacted me today and said that they only have studios in the 165 bracket left so I withdrew. It was a longshot that there'd be anything left in the 125 bracket.
@Wonderfulbrooklyn They might get to the no-pref folks yet at this rate.
