I applied to 14 lotteries.. I rejected 4 .. 0 waitlisted .. 1 called back for further processing.

1 submitted documents 3 times over the course of a few months and still nothing. I have my eye on another building so hopefully I get that one!

I've started applying the lotteries at the Housing Connect since October 2017. I applied 55 lotteries through the old HC website & 45 through the new one, plus one time for Stuytown lottery so total 101 lotteries to date.

I got contacted 32 lotteries so far, waitlisted in five lotteries including Stuytown but I never followed through any of them except one lottery & I got it in June 2021!

Yes, I ended up winning a unit in my top choice apartment building, it's located in Midtown East. The lottery didn't have any preferences & only had 16 units to offer at 120% AMI, I was lucky to get one!
