My building uses them. The billing cycle used to be 2 months behind but now it's 1 though that can change on occasion depending on when they do the meter read and when my building enters it since it's added into our rent. Our building mails the monthly statement due along with the bill from Quadlogic that shows the dates, meter begin and end and rates.

Thanks everyone!
Looking like the minimum wait time is 5-8 months judging by this forum

I had them in my last building - their billing/charges were terrible! Like there'd be a couple of months where I'd get a $300ish bill for a 450 sq. ft. studio with just one a/c unit (this was pre-pandemic when it would be off during the day because I was at work). Kept having to complain to building management where they'd credit back to me much of that. The super had them come and check if anything was wrong with the meters - Quadlogic said there was nothing wrong, but not even the super believed that.

Yep, my bill was not that high but still pretty high for a similar sized studio, wasn't there during the day and was pretty conservative with AC use given my allergies. Even after I moved, they tried to bill me for a few days when I'd already moved out.

Given what I know now, I'm super nervous about what that bill will look like at Brooklyn Crossing - February will be month 8 no electricity bill.

What's the logic in buildings using QL vs just having ConEd bill?

That’s weird because I have a 2bdr, 2 separate thermostats and I haven’t gotten a bill over $100… i wonder how they do meter readings

Mine uses Quadlogic (seems newer buildings use this now). No one not even market rate was charged for electricity until after December 25 of 2022. They are sending out invoices next month around the first week

Shifty is how they do it. I will forever give them the side eye.

This makes me feel less nervous about the bill now. I have a 2 bedroom 4 thermostats (1 for heated bathroom floors) and for some reason I keep thinking that the bill is going to be like $500/ month.

Wow.. I'm hoping to see a bill by the 2nd month, but now I feel like it's going to lean closer to 3 or 4 months.
