Starting this thread for ParksideManor lottery in Queens. I applied and I'm highly interested in this building! I walked passed by and location seems ok so far. It's near a little park. Although close to Jamaica AVE, it's on it's own street which seems to be quieter.
If you applied or is interested in this place. Feel free to post here so we can all discuss.
I also applied but only thing this should haven’t been with CB this area so many with House Connect. Where is the chance for General Population! This area is a good commute and location shopping area. They have some apartments for General Population! How these go for General Population?
Location: Read the Marketing Handbook, and Income a Guide.

The Marketing Handbook explains how the preference allotment process works. It’s available online.
There are 27 units. (There are two AMI% categories, 80% and 130%, allotments are made for the entire building not by AMI% category).
Preference allotment is likely:
5% for Mobility, 1 or 2 units.
2% for Vision, at least 1 unit.
5% NYC employee, 1 or 2 units
50% CB, 13 or 14 units.
I also applied to this building. I have CB preference, so I am praying I am in a nearby building which I also obtained via the housing lottery but I don't like it very much.
April 11, last day to apply for this building. Finger crossed for a low log number.
Side note, wondering how much more it will costs for heat and electricity!? And how much of savings and retirement accounts factors into the income limits.?

Go to FAQs page of Housing Connect where you entered the lottery. Tips, Log# and and Application # are entirely different. Log# sometimes come out quickly after a lottery in a week or two, but sometimes take six months or more to come out.
