well I would say Lehman just out of the sake of convenience, instead of starting from a 4 year Cuny why not start from any of the Community colleges? that way you knock your 2 years out and you already have your GER and CPE requirements pretty much done, leaving you with pretty much the core classes in your major to complete.

I would say do some more research, and visit both campuses and explain your situation to either a counselor or more preferably a CUNY alum that you trust/have confidence in.

Look into one of CUNY's community colleges, attain your associates which is two years then transfer but remember keep your grads up in the community college.

CUNY has become very selective in they admissions procedure.

If you can handle taking summer classes, and classes all year long and everything for extra college credits that adds up to 48, you can transfer to any CUNY school after 1 year. But I think you're much better off if you go to a community college, rather than waste time at Lehman, unless you're continuously studying the same major at Baruch.

I know the Lehman college campus and it is very nice, and convenient transit wise (next to the number 4 train as well as, I think, Metro North?; also close to the B/D line.) I think York is out in the middle of nowhere's ville in Queens in a rough looking hood and you get there by LIRR? I'd choose Lehman; it has a really nice campus and also a lot of cultural events; they have a cultural center that has public concerts; an art gallery that's considered very good; a state of the art gym complex; etc etc.
