Millville is honestly a bit too far to commute from NYC/Manhattan. You might find better info posting in the south NJ forum asking about suburbs in southern NJ or Philadelphia if you need/want to be in a more urban environment.

Millville? Wow , theres not even a train to there , if you were commuting to Philly that would be ok. Commuting form Millville to even North Jersey is a pain let alone , Manhattan. You can live in Millville its not a bad town , you can visit us in Northern New Jersey / Manhattan via Train form 30th Street in Philly.

maxiblue - perhaps you do not quite appreciate the distances involved. Milville, NJ is almost as far away from New York City as Munich is away from Stuttgart. Would you live in suburban Stuttgart and commute daily to Munich?

Any town along the North Jersey Coast line. South of Aberdeen-Matawan , avoid Asbury Park its kinda of going through Urban Renewal and isn't the nice beach town on the line.

You are sure it is Millville, NJ and not Millburn, NJ? Big difference
