Hello,

I know that Astoria is pretty large and i've been through a big portion of it but never through this part. I've seen some nice condos online over this way and will eventually go check out this area. Lease is up in October and we may entertain buying a unit. It seems pretty affordable over there. Any catches? Is anyone familiar with this area? How's crime over there? I looked on Google maps streetview and it looked quiet and residential but obviously i'll need to visit there. It's a 10 min walk to the last stop on the N/Q train. We're a young DINK couple, 29/30 so wonder if we'd fit in.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
