Im just wondering if Sterling Place is safe I google mapped it and it looks like a lot of construction is going on in that area.

sterling place is a big street....do have the cross streets of the specific block that you're interested in?

i cant comment on the actual block itself, but i do know that that area has a big drug problem....meaning theres a lot of drugs being sold in that area. night time i would definitely be on my p's and q's in that area.

That's between Rogers and Nostrand. Not the best area...there is probably more development along Sterling west of Franklin Ave., closer to Washington Ave. and Prospect Heights. Depends on your definition of safe, because it is relatively safe compared to Brownsville, but very intimidating if you're not comfortable in a pretty rough environment.
