Mi wife has a busy schedule all the day and I have to take care of my daughter, so that is the way I was considering to get an online degree. Of course, I prefer a degree in a campus. are you talking about getting a degree in a college or university??.

Thanks again
Get a degree on a campus, skip the online programs. It doesn't matter if it's a college or university, just that it's a respectable school. You might be able to take night classes or something.

I might also suggest not worrying about getting an entire degree. If you already have one degree, just take some CS courses as a part-time student. Practice on your own time as well. Then once you feel you have some ability start applying for jobs.

Well said, Manchester!

OP, you might want to contact some companies that you might be interested in around your area, and ask what they would expect as far as educational background. It is possible that online degrees are available that would be acceptable, but I would assume that they would be expensive and still require some kind of on campus attendance to add legitimacy.

Also, though it seems obvious, as you are still relatively young, might you be able to find some work when your wife is home, even if it's only part time to help pay for school??

Online degrees are great it is the same as in campus. I went to capella university.I got my Master's degree in computer security. It would be more convenient for you if you would take online classes. However online classes are not for everyone. Some people like online classes because they can do it from their homes, or even if they are vacationing in another country, they still can study online. The professors are not there all the times when you need them. Like you need to write emails or call them on the phone. If you think that is ok with you. Then go for it.
