If anyone didnt notice nyc has a bed bug problem and it is because of Bloomberg. You see because Bloomberg has made nyc a popular tourist stop we get people from all over the world, more so now then at any time in our history. In many of these countries they have bed bugs(mainly from europe) and they bring them to nyc. I am not saying anything bad about Bloomberg but his success in making nyc a more popular tourist stop did bring bed bugs. I am surprised no one else brought this up. By the way I want another term for bloomberg when this term is up. The best mayor in my lifetime.

Perhaps you'd like to include the mayors of Philadelphia, Detroit and Cincinnati in your rant. They are the next 3 cities on the list of top bedbugged US cities. As we all know, these cities are also top tourist destinations, especially Detroit, so your theory must be accurate.

Bed bugs are becoming a nation and worldwide problem. There's an article today (Sep 2nd) about bed bugs in the Boston Globe - Boston.com.

Granted, the bed bug situation may be a greater problem in NYC than elsewhere because many people cannot afford to inspect the apartment and have exterminators come or replace any items infested with bed bugs. It's a big problem if your neighbors refuse to exterminate bed bugs or take care of the situation.

Bloomberg is a bedbug and he's sucking our blood.

BTW, it's really frustrating that many of you cannot see that Bloomberg's only reason for being mayor was to help his cronies sink their fangs into the NYC economy and suck the life out of it. His promises of "guiding" us through the financial disaster have helped no one but Wall Street and his developer buddies. The other 95% of NYC residents are screwed. It's sad how ignorant people in this city can be.

Actually you are very ignorant when it comes to this city's economy. If it wasnt for bloomberg we would be far worse off then we are now.

The bed bugs are all form Iraq and Afghanistan. That's why it has all happened in the last 10 years and that's why they have spread throughout the country.
A direct result of our invasion of those two countries.
Every war in the history of mankind has brought disease and or pestilence back to the invading countries.
