There is no Sunnyside neighborhood in the Bronx. Do you mean Sunnyside, Queens?

Reguarding that area around Yankee Stadium, you do not want to live there. It's a bad neighborhood. Better places to live in the city as a whole. Not a place for young females.

For young women I would say parts of Midtown and Lower Manhattan. Park Slope and Greenpoint as well. There are things to do and the areas are much safer.

they only place safe near yankee stadium is inside yankee stadium. if u looking for a nice place try Astoria, Queens. It is just over the river and is only like a 10 or 15 minute ride into manhattan.

Sunnyside queens is a great neighborhood, esp. north of queens blvd but maybe nice even south of that. Around Sunnyside gardens, which was just named an historic district, there are some beautiful streets and very cute restaurants. I would live there (single female) in a second.

In Queens also check Woodside, Astoria, Forest Hills.

once again, hustla718 hits it dead on. stay away from yankee stadium. honestly, what's wrong with you two anyways...two 20-something girls living in the boogy down. you almost deserve what you get. the fact that you mentioned those neighborhoods, though, suggests that you all are on a tight budget. not knowing your finances, you all, etc., my best guesses: astoria, bay ridge, and rego park.

haha, yeahhh, lets just say we both graduated from a top university, but our parents dont have money, so weve both got a lot of loans, and were both in journalism and not in investment banking like half of our graduating class. the budget is a bit tight, but after seeing a couple of places, ive definitely upped my max for living allowance. any other thoughts are welcome.

If you're looking for cheap & decent I'd reccomend Southern Brooklyn (Bay Ridge would be a good place to look at) or lots of neighborhoods in Queens. The Bronx is really sketchy in many neighborhoods. There are exceptions, but the general rule of thumb is that most Bronx neighborhoods aren't the best.
