Hi all, I just moved to NYC from Texas a few months ago, I like to help out tough communities and prefer jobs that work to give back to people.

Now, I didn't grow up in the nicest area, but it was nowhere terrible either. I have no problems entering a rough area for my job in order to help out, but I do want to make sure that I can have a safe trip in and out daily.

I would be travelling from Greenpoint to 475 Fountain Avenue, which appears to be in the heart of ENY. I understand to make change you have to work in some of the worst off areas, but I want to survive at the same time so I can succeed in my job.

Google shows me as needing to take the L train all the way to the final New Lots stop, from there I would need to catch the B15 to 475 Fountain. I figure I can survive the trip in the morning, but would come back in the evening 7-8 absolute latest be doable?
