Saturday Night Live??? How do we get in? (ticket, to work)

May be a shot in the dark...but can anybody help me get into a viewing of Saturday Night Live? I'm aware that we can just go stand outside and hope to get in, but I would love to get an official pass as a birthday gift for a friend. Thanks in advance to anybody with some insight.

SNL is about impossible to get tickets to. You might be better off trying to get tix for the rehearsal show. Call the NBC ticket line 212-664-3056 or go here NBC.com - Get Tickets- NBC Official Site and scroll down to the SNL info.

Agreed, the rehearsal is just as fun if not more so because they'll stop to work things out and you'll see skits that won't make the final cut.

i went to the rehearsal show once...it was pretty cool....and i flashed the peace sign to tracy morgan and he saw me in the crowd and did it right back and pointed to me too.....it was cool. felt just like they were on live tv.
