Dude dont waste your time on that moron. You will always have people who judge base on what other people say because they dont know how to think for themselfs. I like Traffic cops and school cops because most of them are friendly. Btw, these people do their job WITHOUT a GUN and BULLET PROOF VEST, so think about that for a second before you try to talk ***** about their JOB!. Now for the dude who wanted to know how long it takes to get called. Its about a year bro. Its sound like a long time, but compare to police, is not that bad. In 6 months you will will start the processing. Then you wait another 6 month to get the call, if you did everything SMOOTHLY!!! Meaning no HOLDs. Im exam 0154 btw, I took the exam in 2010. Im going to the academy this year 2012. This should give you an idea of how long it takes. Furthermore, stay in shape, dont drink, keep a clean record and dont lie. Honesty is key in the process. P.s Traffic cops make more money than you think! I read one article where they made 13 MILLION in overtime alone, mind you theres only 2,550 Traffic cops. DO THE MATH!!!

You will be called. The Police Dept goes thru an entire exam list before it expires. You have about 1.5 year wait. So sit tight.
