If memory serves me well, I believe Jefferson runs paralell with both Halsey and Hancock. In my experience living in BK, Jefferson mixed with any street is not gonna be that good/clean/etc.

i will pass on jefferson and nostrand because i am not a fan of nostrand avenue in bed-stuy in general.....jefferson ave gets a little nicer the further east you go, the best parts are from marcy ave to marcus garvey blvd....then it starts getting crappy again.

umm ok, well bed-stuy has the typical northeasten winter climate....mid 30s to low 20s and snow is common in the winters....summers are from 70-90 degrees and sometimes humid.

as in things to do? there are some new eateries that have opened up on nostrand avenue and lewis avenue in the past few years. it depends on what you're into. bed-stuy is still a neighborhood in transition so not all amenities that young professionals are assumed to like are present at the moment.
