on my last trip to NYC, less than 2 weeks ago, DW and I took a long walk in the BBG. It was lovely. Still a few roses blooming. We did the Japanese Garden, the shakespeare garden, the touch and smell garden (didnt they used to call it a blind persons garden?) and the conservatories. Best of all it was free, cause it was a weekday in off season.

What ever happened to the Japanese rock garden? (there is a rock garden and a Japanese garden, but I remember a J rock garden in something like a buddist or shinto temple) did they tear it down?

We parked across from the library, by that big new building on Eastern Parkway. DW liked the building, and insisted on walking into the lobby. I wonder if the units there are selling (or was it renting?).
