Didn't Clinton Hill used to be Bed stuy?
The area north of Dekalb within a block or two of Bedford either way, used to be Bed Stuy - the northern boundary of which was Flushing ave. I have seen that area referred to as "Williamsburg" presumably because of its population of Hasidic Jews. |

More aimed at #14 and 15. "Bed stuy is just completely terrible" I have relations who routinely walk down Bedford Avenue at night, in what I would define as Bed Stuy, without fear. To me thats a huge change in Bed Stuy. And not really consistent with "Bed Stuy is not a nice area. period. " But I think that latter impression is explained by the evolving definition of the neighborhood, such that areas that have become safer, are no longer perceived as parts of Bed Stuy. |

bedford was always one of the quieter north-south avenues....except for that park near hancock street, they used to shoot there quite a bit back in the day |
