I recently moved to NYC. Job offer just fell through. I have done sales for a few years now and also alot of customer service. Have a decent resume. Just seeing if there's anywhere I should look in NYC for more resources, besides the obvious I guess. Thanks in advance for reading. Hoping this post stays positive. Trying to be optomistic.

customer service/sales usually means working at a department store. The major chains are usually hiring extra help during this time of year and will most likely be temp. However I did have a friend who got a perm job after the temp position because he made sure he was known as a good worker. The pay will be very mediocre though. Don't expect anything beyond $10 an hour unless its a major major high end retailer.
