Wondering if anybody has had luck buying an old cop car (not that old!),scooter, truck or bus (yes a bus) form the monthly auction over on Kent in Brooklyn.
Bumping up. Nobodies been to these auctions? You don't know what you're missing. Cop cars. fire trucks, payloaders, panel truck (that's what I want), step vans. Most of them run. Sorta.
I never purchased a car from there , but it is my understanding that you are advised to bring your own mechanic to inspect the vehicles and that once you buy it , you take it and own it is as. If you leave the lot and the wheels fall off , it's your problem. You are not getting your money back. That's my understanding , but not 100% on that , but I'm fairly certain I'm right.
Used car dealers usually go those kinds of places, more so out of state where most of the mileage is highway. Bidder beware though because there are no
refunds. Sure you can bring a mechanic to inspect but you most certainly can't take it for a test drive outside the lot.
