This is very true

We like our quiet neighborhood. We have enough stores along 86th, bars,no we do not need it. there are plenty of other places to go for a drink.

I'm surprised someone who's posting under the name "Nightcrawler" would be against any sort of nightlife, but yes I do understand not wanting drunken mayhem in your neighborhood, but some sort of social atmosphere would be nice.. That’s all I’m saying.

You also have to remember that Bensonhurst is a major family neighborhood. Bars and clubs would not fit in a family area, although you do have some neighborhoods with many children (especially in the Bronx and Upper Manhattan) with nightclubs.

LOL, I love nightlife just as much as the next person. but not in my neighborhood. I have been here 25 years, and when 7pm comes, it is quiet. Ahhh !!! that works for me.

But seriously, i understand what you mean, there isn't even any good restaurants here at all, zero.

Carroll Gardens has all the places I think you would like. We get there by car, takes less than 20 minutes and it seems as though we are in another world.
Then we go home to quiet....for us it is a win win situation.

It would be a win for everyone if they finally picked up the rest of the garbage left over from the holidays.

Hey Krissy so your in your late 20's and you live in Bensonhurst too? Are you Italian? I have just moved back here, but I don't really like it, and yes you are right, there are not any bars I can think of.

Send me a message sometime and we can chat about it, I think your best bet is 86th street closer to dyker
