Basically a full-scale renovation was supposed to go down, and residents needed to pack out. Nothing was done to the buildings and it was left out to deteriorate due to funding problems, or something along those lines. Demolition of the remaining buildings will start this June. In it's place will be smaller 2-story walk-ups, small multi-story apartments and retail space. 30% will go to former residents of Prospect Plaza and the rest will be open to everyone else... if I read right.
