I'm not really picky about pizza, but I recently had Pizza at Pizzatown on fifth avenue in Park Slope near Dean Street. I had it the day after going to one of the slowest sit down places I've ever been to across the street for a pre concert meal at the Barclays Center.

The Sawmill in seaside NJ, childhood memories may play into the decision here, but last time I picked up a pie there (last year), these tourists were gawking over the pizza so maybe a little of both

Ever get the impression there are too many pizzerias in the City?

I guess that's why the $.99 slice. Too much supply too little demand and prices fall.

We have more pizza joints than anywhere in the city. Unfortunately most are just decent. I grew up on Rosa's, but now find their sauce too acidity. Now I go to Curato II, it's only okay. I switch it up.

The thing is that while i like pizza and italian carb loaded cuisine a lot i try to eat it as seldom a possible. Usually i eat only meat and veggies and fish and veggies and fruits of course. But no apples those makes me even more hungry. This diet is the key to keep you healthy. Just my choice in life.

Arturo's on West Houston Street is pretty good. I like Johnny's as well on Dyckman Street.
