hey whats up everyone. just joined this forum. so my car is basically immobile on the monday side in Bay Ridge and it looks like alternate side is in effect tomorrow. I have been trying to dig the car out since the last big snowstorm and I can't get it to move. I think I'm done trying for today anyway. You think there is any chance if I put a note on the car by the registration sticker the dept. of sanitation might have mercy on my poor soul?
I agree with Mr.Triny33. You will need to move your car tomorrow if there is alternate side parking on Monday where it is currently parked.

If you are at your car when the officer comes you can push your car far enough to allow street cleaning and push it back and avoid a ticket- generally.
If the street is extremely distraught, and there is no cleaning going on anyway, you can make a recording of your car during the cleaning period and defend a ticket if you get one.
i resolved this as it turns out. i forgot about the Triple A membership!!! i had the car towed tonight during the super bowl. i tipped the guy 6 bucks and moved it to the tuesday side. Triple A is totally worth the 25 bucks a year subscription.
well, we need it now, everything is disgusting and need to be cleaned. it would be nice if the cars moved and a plow could come along and loosen the snow so it could melt and the streets can be cleaned.
86th near bay parkway is a freaking pig stuy, it needs to be cleanned soooooo badly.
