Is there a comprehensive list of artist studio spaces anywhere? I am looking for a place where I can pay $100 or so per month (really not much more) to share a light-filled space to work on my art projects. I'm not a super serious artist with gigantic installations, I'm just working on a graduate school portfolio for architecture, and my cramped, dark apartment is definitely not the place to draw or paint. I found a place called Brooklyn Artists Gym, but I'm having trouble finding any other options. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

100 per month won't even get you a parking spot in NYC let alone a room in Manhattan.

..... Yea, I know that. The price of everything in NY is only beaten into everybody's head around here. I'm not looking for a place to LIVE, I'm looking for a shared studio space anywhere in the NYC area. I figure if I can get a gym membership in lower manhattan for $55/mo, surely there are affordable shared studio spaces (work only) for cheap in Brooklyn or Manhattan, other than this one I was able to find. They are out there, because I found one, I am just curious if there is a listing of these types of work spaces, or how to go about finding them.

I apologize, I misunderstood your post.

I don't know of any places that cheap. I had a friend who shared an art loft in LIC with four other guys, and each had to pay about $250 a month. It was a very large loft though.
But if you saw one, I guess it's possible.
