Yeah, just take a stroll down Steinway from 28th ave to Astoria Boulevard and you'll be in the heart of Little Egypt. There are also many Lebanese people too. In the summer, everyone sits outdoors to drink coffee or eat and smoke hookah. There are a lot of excellent Middle Eastern restaurants and the people are very friendly. It's mostly Middle Easterners, but I'm a Filipino guy that happens to like Middle Eastern food, so I'm always on those blocks and got to know some of the restaurant owners and they're always happy to see me. I've seen a few white people walking around too, but it's probably 99% Middle Easterners. There are big street parties when Egypt wins in soccer and of course when they just won their freedom recently!

There's also a sizable population of Egyptians in downtown Brooklyn, especially around Boerum Hill and Cobble Hill. Many own businesses on Atlantic Avenue and live on the side streets.
