I did and went to 3 of the recommended places, but they weren't that great.
Ever since I had a incredible slice at an Amish place in Pennsylvania, I've been looking for one that comes close, but have not managed to find it yet. Since NYC has so many restaurants and bakeries, I keep hoping I'll find something comparable.

As for the actual CCP, which I too love, I'm told that Sarge's Deli on 3rd Avenue and about 36th Street has a delicious one.
