Hoboken to 23rd & 1st? Is it faster to take the ferry and than the bus or the path and than subway?

Would Brooklyn be a faster commute?

I'm not sure how long the commute is but there is a path train station at 23rd and 6 avenue. You would have to take a bus to get to 23rd and 1st ave.

what is hopstop?

6th ave. is a long walk to 1st in the cold. how frequently do the buses come and which buses are they?

i think if you take the ferry over, the ferry provides the buses around nyc, but if you take the path would it be different buses? does anyone know?

Can a moderator put this post in NJ? I am not getting very many responses here. Thanks.

take the path train and walk. Its fast. 23rd and 1st is never going to be that easy.

Hopstop is a website that gives you commute times. HopStop.com - Transit Directions and Maps for New York City (NYC)

Or you can go to maps.google.com and select the little bus icon to get transit times. its awesome for figuring out walk times too by clicking the person icon.
