Hey guys, I just wasted 2+ hours of my life trying to Google schools in NYC to go to for History and Secondary Education. If any of you guys familiar with colleges in NYC that can provide that area for me, ANY information would be greatly appreciated. I got a 24 on my ACT, if that helps narrow anything down. Also, I know since I'm in Illinois I'll have a ridiculous out of state tuition but I'd like to keep it as cheap as possible (Yeah, that sounds stupid and like I'm Scrooge, but hey, gotta try). Thanks for your time!
I'm not being mean, but have you gone to a library and picked up a college guide? There is more to research than Google. For a history major, research is an important skill. Good luck.

Try Queens College in Flushing, Queens. Excellent education program.
do you want to teach history? probably best to get your history degree in-state since it is much cheaper and then apply to teacher's college at columbia for grad education degree.
I second Queens College. They have a great education program.
Look into Hunter College as well.
