Beautiful!!! The colors are so vibrant and the lines so crisp!! You really catch the essence of what you're photographing and "bring it" to the viewers!
i said that to my yesterday. after most museums ripping your lungs out at 20 bucks a person the fact this was free was amazing
NYC has an amazing and long list of "pay what you want" museums. Chief among them is the MET. My cousin, who is a student in NYC, pays either nothing or $1 (depending on her financial situation that week) every time she visits.
I LOVE the NYPL! Such a great place to visit. I go there alot between interviews, or while waiting to meet friends for dinner. Really nice place to regroup and enjoy the art.

the distinct look of the photos are all done in post processing. in camera i shoot very plain and flat and put back everything later on as to how i want it to look.
Wow, stunning photos. I've been there several times, but your photos really bring out the beauty. It's nice to just sit back and enjoy it. I'm always in a rush when I'm in the area, unfortunately.
Great pictures as always, Mathjak. That is one of my favorite buildings in the city. As I kid, I always enjoyed looking at the lions. I have some pictures of my own of the interior lying around somewhere, but they are film photos, not digital.
Very nice! I love the NYC library- I was awestruck the first time I walked in the door and love taking visitors there whenever possible -
