This is where the jobs are:

In Rust Belt, manufacturers add jobs, but factory pay isn’t what it used to be - The Washington Post

It might be the future of our economy.... factory jobs without unions, union wages or any health insurance

This is why they are trying to eliminate unions by the way, just in case you didn't know. It's to turn us all into compliant, scared little drones eager to slit each other's throats over crappy jobs and to serve our corporate masters.Looks like it is working too.

to answer the original question posted here. I work homecare and it seems to be expanding greatly. I work for a chha which is a certified home health care agency. Many hospitals are starting up their own homecare agencies.
your friend must ultimately make the choice.

Too much negativity? Is it not what you want to read? Why make an account to come on here? I get the feeling that you're a pre-nursing student trying to compensate and you hate reading that your dream job just isn't so.

Your license number doesn't vouch for much. You can look up anyone and post their license number. Sorry, but I don't believe you.

So, why did you come on here again?

Would you like to post a list of places that new grads can apply or did you just register to argue about the facts?

Of course and that's why you work in home health care now, which is pretty much the least desirable area of nursing to work in. I totally believe you.

If nursing has been so good to you, I doubt you would be on here attempting to pull so much personal information from me.

Your overdefensiveness, denial and argumentive nature are SO typical for nursing. What a shame.

Home care is a decent gig. But it certainly is not what most people think of when they hear nurse.
