What are some of the best places you've been to throughout the 5 boroughs while on a date or places you've ventured with a significant other? (Hang-out spots, Restaurants, Park areas etc)

The Chart House in Weehawken. The restuarant has a magnificent view of NYC especially at night.

The pier near the Intrepid Museum. There's benches there and a dog park where you can sit check and watch dogs play.

There's a Lavendar arch at Rumsfield Park in Central Park. It's very pretty and you can sit there and avoid the sun.

I like the South street seaport area. I love seeing the Hudson river and all the boats pass through at night.

Word! Botanical Garden is very romantic, especially when they have those lights during the winter.

The further points of Rockaway beach is very romantic to me at night.

Last night the husband I got some gelato from Grom and sat by the fountain at Columbus Circle. There were lovey couples all around us. With the lights of the city, the flowers and trees in bloom, and the water covering the sound of traffic, it was surprisingly romantic.

(Off topic, but I have to say that I've avoided Grom as just another ridiculously overpriced NYC thing - but how wrong I was. The pistachio tasted like someone went in the back, ground up some nuts, chilled it with eggs, cream, and a bit of sugar before putting it on my cone a minute later.)
