I got a letter for the interview. What kind of questions should I expect? Will they be technical questions (similar to the ones on the test) or just personal/behavior questions like 'what is your weaknesses'?

I am not sure I understand my status. Do they have to hire me since I passed the test well? What is the purpose of the interview then?

Assistants don't have levels there only one level, you get 35 grant at the start, if you pass your evaluation it goes to 40 at the end of first year and after second year again if you pass your evaluation it goes to 42, then you need to pass an Associate exam to get that job. Associate exam is hard. Also there is a reason I mention pass your evaluation, because people routinely fail it. Associates do not get promoted unless you pass the exam. Its not a horrible job I've done it it depends the unit you get hired on and your manager, there is a lot of overtime if you want it and well they expect you to do miracles.

So just got back today...list # is 36* (which means it is between 360 and 369).

Long story short - went there, they hired two people whose list numbers were in the 310 range, and that was it.
