I agree....I just love how these straight men are so dumb when it comes to sex. Did he really think this ex porn star **** would keep his secret, um, she sold his dumb ass down the river......duh !!!

I also think that if the freaking media didnt get a hold of this, and how did they, then all of us would have never know, it would have blown away and life would go on.

I have to wonder how the media gets all these "private" correspondences. Was he set up with the singular goal of costing him his seat? Is there a level of entrapment here?
Was the sole purpose of these women to get and REPORT dirt?
The slow dribble-dribble of these reports over a couple weeks seems somewhat orchestrated.

Is every e-mail that I sent viewable by the media if they so choose? Or must the recipient bring them forward to Fox News, NY Times etc.? What would be the motive of such a recipient? Money?
Obviously there must be SOMETHING in it for the recipients other than exposing themselves as filthy mouthed skanks?

No plot to get him. What got him was sending the underwear picture to ALL of his followers and not just to the one he intended. This perplexed more than a few of these followers and that is how it became public.
As for the ensuing release of pictures, it is true that Weiner only sent those pictures to individual sexting partners or, as you put it, foul mouthed skanks. There are probably more to come though I really don't see how Weiner can show us anything else.
No plot here anymore than there was with Tiger Woods when those woman came out of the woodwork after the cat was already out of the bag.

A really strange guy is more like it but, two years is an eternity in politics. Now that he has finally resigned in a bizarre press conference with catcalls of "PERVERT" from the audience, maybe Anthony can clean his act up a bit for 2013. I noticed he was being followed closely by a rabbi today as he left the resignation thing. That's a good sign unless it's the father of one of those college girls.
Politicians do all sorts of bo!!ocks. Look at Europe. What matters is efficiency. But of course, the holier than thou crowd is huge in this part of the world. Everybody does stupid things, but come on

I liked the guy before all this. His rants in congress were great. Very Brooklyn. But he lost me, not with the sexting, with the idiotic way he melted down after basically outing himself with his lack of computer skills. The only smart thing he did was not making a complaint to the FBI when he claimed he was hacked, which would have been a crime. A guy named Weiner would have big problems in jail.
I, too, may write him in for some election down the line. He should make a living.

Its sad that a guy like that who was great at his job before this and better than most in the House frankly, is now deemed not just a political but social pariah. Its not enough for people that he is a man who messed up, he's a pervert, a sexual deviant. They're damn near putting him down there with pedophile preists. What he did was beyond stupid, but it is completely unfair the way they're portraying the guy. I believe those of you who cast stones may have voted for some of the most vile and degenerate human beings in your time.
