Hi,
I'm looking at co-ops in Bay Ridge area and I'm wondering if the parking has improved recently. I read that Century 21 store opened a new parking lot that would help with the parking situation. More specific 77st and 4th ave.

Thank You in advance for your help :-)

You are smart to be concerned about parking in Bay Ridge, it is very tight there. My guess is that Century 21 parking lot is not going to help much with after hours parking, because they will probably be aggressive in towing cars out of there when the store is not open.

I would look for a off the street parking option. Or just ditch your car and use the subway.

Bay Ridge is a good area, below Colonial & Narrows is even better, Shore Rd tops the list.
77th and 4th, pretty nice...PARKING IS HORRENDOUS !!!! I can't stress that enough.

Parking is horrendous and that lot hasn't done anything to improve it. I used to live on Shore and 74th. When I first moved there I used to park my car right in front. I had a new car so I was choosy and would only park by a driveway so no one could wreck my bumper. By the time I left 3 years ago I was lucky to park on 79th and Ridge.

Parking is terrible. On weekdays one can see cars in the wee hours of the morning circling like vultures looking for a spot that is legal the next day. You will hate that car unless you can afford to pay for an off street spot.

I live in Bay Ridge (72 and) and its nice and parking isnt that imo, you just have to find spots that are usually open ( I have a car btw). Open spots are near/on Wakeman Pl, near owls head park, etc...
